We are so excited to announce our first annual printed edition of the Montana Wedding Guide, arriving in January 2010!

As you know, our website is full of inspiring images aimed at supplying our brides with ideas for their own weddings. In addition to providing a beautiful resource with local vendor information, we include hints, tips, lessons learned, expert advice straight from the vendors, and real wedding collages. We incorporate all of this into our site, as well as our blog, Facebook fan page and Twitter feed, which are all updated regularly.

We will be transferring this to our printed edition with a theme of Weddings: Montana Style. This publication will be full of the same useful information as our website and will also include favorite DIY projects, advice from past brides and grooms (what they loved, what they would do differently), exclusive expert advice straight from the vendors themselves, tips on how to get a wedding published, and helpful websites and blogs. In keeping with our theme we will also show why Montana is the perfect destination for a wedding!

Heading up the project is Melanie Nashan, the owner of Nashan Photographers, whose work is published regularly in major wedding publications such as Brides, Martha Stewart Weddings, and Elegant Bride, among others. Last year, after seeing a need for a more contemporary, informative local wedding planning resource, Melanie started montanaweddingguide.com. We're thrilled to be working on a printed publication, and can't wait to share it with you!

Every Bride, and hopefully groom, wants to be in great shape for their wedding day. Take advantage of the resources available online or on your handheld to help you reach your goals! Our recent Wyoming bride Kristin Colloton, pictured above, looked fantastic for her wedding three weeks ago with toned arms and shoulders that were accented by her beautiful and simple dress.

Chico Hot Springs is one of my favorite places in the area! It is wonderful place to have a wedding because you are able to have everything happen in one general area. Your family and friends can all stay at the lodges so you can enjoy several days together instead of just a few short hours!

I LOVE when people can't hold back their emotions!

Kate and John spent a few minutes in the saloon together for some sweet photos! They usually have great bands playing in the saloon on the weekends. So your wedding party can continue into the wee hours of the morning.

One of Bärbel's brides, Lani, filled out the questionnaire that we give each couple with their completed wedding package and had a bit of advice for future brides that we thought was important to share since we hear it time and time again. She says, "Even if you don't think photography is a high priority (as I did initially) when everything is said and done...photographs are the best way to relive the day. It goes by in such a blur. It is so wonderful to have reminders of all of the people we love and an event we will always cherish." Here are just of few of the beautiful photographs from that wedding.
